Budapest Airport express shuttle to run more frequently from today

The Budapest Transport Centre (BKK) has announced an increase in frequency on the day-and-night bus line due to higher traffic during the Easter festivities. The buses run between Deák Ferenc Square, the city’s heart with the Budapest Eye, and the airport.

This means the buses will follow each other every 5–6 minutes on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays. Meanwhile, on other days of the week, the headway will be 6 minutes. More buses will run on the express line to the airport during morning hours, while in the evening the frequency will increase in the other direction.

Check out the timetable on BKK’s website.

On the 200E bus (Kőbánya-Kispest – Budapest Airport), no separate ticket is needed if you have a Budapest season ticket/pass.
