Budapest’s most popular dino park reopens this week!

Starting this Friday, visitors can once again explore the Dino Park at KÖKI Shopping Center’s (KÖKI Bevásárlóközpont) rooftop terrace. Hungary’s first permanent dinosaur exhibition and educational park, featuring 80 life-sized dinosaurs—30 of which are animatronic—enters its third season, welcoming prehistoric enthusiasts of all ages.

The park, one of Budapest’s top family attractions, spans 1.5 hectares with 25 themed areas, BDPST24 writes. Guests can wander among towering, roaring dinosaurs in a meticulously recreated Mesozoic environment. Highlights include:
- A paleontology playground for budding fossil hunters
- An educational trail with insights into Earth’s history
- A 3D cinema screening exclusive prehistoric-themed films

- Hours: Daily, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (last entry at 5:30 PM)
- Season: 28 March – 31 October, with weekend openings in November

Located atop KÖKI Shopping Center near Kőbánya-Kispest transport hub, the park is accessible via metro M3 and multiple bus lines.
