According to research by a holiday company, Budapest “won” a place on the list of the world’s most crowded cities. Is your experience similar?

As Travelo reports, a holiday company has researched which destinations have the highest visitor numbers in relation to the population per square kilometre.

The official list of the world’s most crowded cities is dominated by European capitals, and Budapest is one of the world’s most congested cities. Perhaps less surprisingly, Paris has become the most congested city on the planet. With 351,429 visitors per square kilometre and a visitor rate of 1,708%, the French capital is by far the most crowded destination, timeout.com writes.
