Budapest police set 2024 goals: Tackling cyber crime, drug trade, and improving clearance rates

The goals set by the Budapest Police Headquarters (BRFK) for this year include improving clearance rates, curbing cybercrime, and taking effective action against drug dealers, the city’s police chief told the metropolitan assembly on Wednesday.

“The aim is to ensure stable public safety free from extremism,” Tamás Terdik said. “Our goals for this year will be to improve clearance rates, curb online crimes, take effective action against drug dealers, continue reducing the number of accidents and maintaining responsiveness,” he said.
