Budapest Spring Festival – Video Preview

In 2015, the spring festivities offer a programme of great variety in terms generations, genres and venues, between 10 and 26 April.

The 35th Budapest Spring Festival awaits visitors with a programme that involves many of the arts, with events in classical and contemporary music, opera, jazz and pop, world music, dance, theatre and the visual arts. With the best Hungarian performers and real world stars, the Budapest Spring Festival is a truly special occasion, presenting Hungarian and world premieres of musical and theatrical productions and co-productions throughout its seventeen days.

There will be dozens of venues in 2015: in addition to the Palace of Arts and the Opera House, the Academy of Music, the Budapest Music Center, the Whale, Vigadó, the National Theatre and other Budapest theatres and museums will also be home to outstanding events. Realized again in a cooperation between the Palace of Arts, the Budapest Festival and Tourism Centre, and Hungarian Tourism Inc., the event series continues to broaden its offer by involving the leading cultural institutions of the city.
