Budapest to host Beatles festival
Budapest’s Kobuci Garden will host a Beatles festival on Sunday, organisers said.
Organised for the 4th time, the festival will feature Hungary’s Bits group playing Beatles songs, they told MTI on Saturday.
In the spotlight of their concert will be Abbey Road, the famous 1969 album celebrating its 50th anniversary.
The festival will also feature an exhibition showing John Lennon’s first ever guitar and a contest giving the winner an original bass guitar used by the Beatles.
The festival’s chief patron is British Ambassador Iain Lindsay.
