Advent Fair dates in Budapest

According to ma.hu, you can say goodbye to the old year and greet the New Year while listening to the biggest hits at the Basilica on New Year’s Eve.

On early Thursday afternoon, however, the Budapest Advent fairs close. Still, they will operate full time again at the City Hall Park and on Vorosmarty Square from Friday, December 27.

Mainly the culinary and the gift stands will be open in all three locations on Friday, but new stage programs will presented on Vorosmarty Square from Saturday on.

From Sunday, all three locations will operate with full opening hours: concerts and children’s performances are waiting for the families on Vorosmarty Square, fair and snow slide at the City Hall Park. At the Basilica, in addition to the gastronomic delights, a 200-sqm ice skating rink – free of charge – and light painting shows are available for the visitors.

On New Year’s Eve, you can say goodbye to the old year and greet the New Year with the biggest hits at the Basilica. They also organize a lens day on January 1^st, where you can try a rich selection of dishes bringing good luck in the new year.
