Budapest’s Costes world’s 25th best restaurant, TripAdvisor finds
(MTI) – Respondents in a recent survey have put Budapest’s Costes restaurant in the 25th place among 353 restaurants put forward as the world’s best, online guide TripAdvisor said on its website.
Costes, in central Budapest’s Raday street, opened in 2008 with Portuguese chef Miguel Rocha Vieira in charge of the kitchen. It won a Michelin star in 2010, the first restaurant in Hungary to do so.
The list is topped by El Celler in Girona, Spain, followed by Cambridge’s Midsummer House, while French restaurant Maison Lameloise was voted the world’s third best.
TripAdvisor generates lists of the best restaurants, hotels, beaches and islands in the world every year.
