Celebrity chefs cook up a feast at SIBF 2022

 Celebrity chefs, bakers, nutritionists and food business experts from the region and around the globe will lead food enthusiasts in the UAE on an exciting culinary adventure as the Cookery Corner opens at the 41st Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) from November 2 – 13 at Expo Centre Sharjah.

From fusion cuisine and modernised adaptations to traditional and quick and easy preparations, the line-up of internationally renowned chefs and experts will share their expertise and headline 30 cooking activities including live demo sessions at SIBF 2022 as part of the fair’s popular ‘Cookery Corner’ programme.

Among the many notable chefs and experts who will take visitors and guests on an expansive journey into a delightful world of flavours at SIBF this year are Dr. Nourhan Kandil and Sally Fouad from Egypt, Christina Bowerman, Alessandro Borghese, Damiano Carrara, and Luca Montersino from Italy, Vicky Ratnani from India, and Vindex Tengker from Indonesia.

Participating chefs and experts

A highly respected health coach with an MBA from Paris Business School (ESLSCA), Dr. Nourhan Kandil is a certified nutritionist and the author of two bestselling books while her compatriot, Sally Fouad, a healthy nutrition and cooking expert, is a popular television host.

Some of the most influential and authoritative personalities on the Italian gastronomic scene who will be at SIBF this year include Christina Bowerman, a multi-talented Michelin star chef who shares a passion for travel and pushes the boundaries of traditional cooking; Alessandro Borghese, an eclectic and innovative chef who is also a restaurateur and cookbook author; Damiano Carrara, a Tuscan native, co-founder of Carrara Pastries, and author of Dolce Italia and A Taste of Italy; and Luca Montersino, chef, consultant, teacher, food manager, and television personality.
