Check out the new trailer of the Black Widow’s adventures in Budapest!
After a long wait, this summer, we can finally watch the newest mission of Black Widow, shot in the Hungarian capital. The new trailer of Marvel Productions has been released in recent days that also reveals which Budapest sites were visited by the superspies, starring Scarlett Johansson and Florence Pugh.
As we reported earlier, Budapest has become one of the most popular filming locations of Hollywood; therefore, it is not surprising that the latest part of the Marvel movies also takes place in the Hungarian capital. Previously, we could already watch Scarlett Johansson in action in front of the Budapest Parliament; however,
the new trailer of Marvel Studios’ Black Widow reveals some new, super-exciting scenes shot in the Hungarian capital.
As Hungarian news portal film.hu reports, the freshly published trailer makes it clear that a significant part of the plot takes place in Budapest. After the opening image of the Citadell, Natasha Romanoff arrives at the Keleti Railway Station and continues her mission with Yelena (Florence Pugh) racing on Constitution Street, both of them chased by a super-evil in a combat vehicle. The film gives a glimpse into the origins of the Black Widow program, featuring Rachel Weisz and the Sheriff in Stranger Things, David Harbor.
This is not the first time the two celebrities have visited Budapest. Previously, both of them worked in Hungary: Scarlett Johansson was filmed in Budapest at an early stage of her career, in the American Rhapsody presented in 2001 and directed by Éva Gárdos, while English actress Florence Pugh starred in Ari Aster’s horror film Midsommar a few years ago, which was filmed in Hungary.
The Black Widow film, which opens the fourth cycle of the Marvel Universe, has been postponed three times so far.
According to current plans, the full movie will debut in US cinemas on 9th July.
