Chinese President to visit Budapest: why is Xi coming to Hungary?
The Chinese President will arrive in Hungary in early May. The news was revealed at today’s Cabinet Briefing. Gergely Gulyás, head of the Prime Minister’s Office, said that President Xi Jinping will be a guest of Budapest between 8 and 10 May.

Levente Horváth, director of the Eurasia Centre (Eurázsia Központ), told Index that Hungary and China share similar views on the evolution of the world order, and economic cooperation between the two countries has also helped deepen relations.
According to the expert, China is an important economic partner for Hungary because it is the world’s second-largest economy, with a market of 1.4 billion people and advanced technology. “Hungary is important for China because it is an EU member state, it has a good geographical location and a stable political and economic environment,” Horváth said.
He also said that Hungary has been following its own foreign policy path, reacting to the changing world order in a timely manner with its policy of opening up to the East, and since then it has also been cultivating ever closer relations with China and other Asian countries.
“Prime Minister Viktor Orbán launched his policy of opening up to the East with the slogan “We sail under the Western flag, but the wind blows from the East in the world economy”. However, this does not mean that we should only cooperate with the East instead of the West. We need to diversify our relations and work with the East as well as the West. This is in the interest of the country,” the director of the Eurasia Centre said.
Horváth recalled that 2024 is the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Hungary and China,
and this could provide an opportunity for the Chinese President to visit Budapest.

For 4 decades after WWII the Foreign and Domestic Policies of Hungary were dictated from Moskow, for the past 3 decades from EU-Brussels, it is time for the Hungarian People/Leadership, to be independent and dictate our Foreign and Domestic Policies as they are serving the Interests of the Hungarian People!
Hwy Imre, no worries, orban is selling Hungary to one single country, guess who is going to dictate the foreign policies here? Starts with C and ends with hina. HUXIT now and everyone is happy.
Hungarians, in there millions, have just sat back, whilst this RELATIONSHIP with China, has been building.
Hungarians, have authorised – the Orban – Fidesz Government, to over the past decade, continue to BUILD, what is NOW a situation that is not reversible, and will GROW – through the WRONGFULNESS of the millions of Hungarians who hold Responsibility authorizing agreeing – that has “FEED” into strengthened, the Orban “path” – that the FUTURE of Hungary, is not as a DEMOCRACY, but aligned to a Dictatorship regime, in Hungary’s FUTURE – under Communistic Governance.
This unreversible POSITION, besides BLAME resting heavily on the shoulders of MILLIONS of Hungarians, has been PROPELLED by the total in-effectiveness – the RABLE – that are the so called OPPOSITION Party’s in the Hungarian Political landscape.
NEVER, never over the 14 years that Orban, his Fidesz Government have been the Government of Hungary, re-elected again in the course of 14 years, by MILLIONS of Hungarians, never has there been SOLIDARITY – a coming joining together of the to many in number that are ALL in the RABLE of Opposition Political Party’s in the Hungarian Political System.
Opposition Party’s in Hungary, over the course of 14 years, there central focus WRONGFULLY has been playing Political Power Mind Games against each other, not FOCUSED in working together finding a TICKET – a “common ground” – of joint agreed POLICIES – that SERIOUSLY Challenged – the on-wards cataclysmic PATH and Future, that we factually know, and grows, of the Orban “Blue Print” plans for the FUTURE of Hungary.
Shameful.
Those that KNOW understand, have the intellectual capacity to “read between the lines” look at and evaluate SEE – what HAS been PERMITTED to occur in Hungary, under the Orban – Fidesz Government, we have been meet with NO support, no respect, for the “quality” of communication, we have been putting out and into ALL of Hungary, the citizens of Hungary, from whatever “station in life” they come – City’s, Towns, Villages and Hamlets.
We have been rejected, our opinions, what Orban and his Fidesz Government, the PATH of the Hungarian Future they where and continue – un-opposed – to SEND or “PLUNGE” Hungary.
It ALL will WORSEN, but Hungarians, you HAVE agreed to it and live with it to-day, in a country that is a Financial and Economic “Shambles” – with a Government, under Orban – that HAVE No Money for INVESTMENT into Public NEEDS and Services and a currency that will be COLLAPSED.
Hungarians in our MILLIONS – a quote of Mahatma Gandhi captures or “Zones” in on, what our ROLE continues, has been, in the Sell- Off – that we continue to “bear” witness factually living with, seeing HAPPENING in Hungary, under the Distillation of Democracy, in favour – of a return to Governance under a Dictatorship of Communism.

Crestfallen – that what fears me, in the visit of the Chinese President, and the increase numbers, it may CONVINCE of Hungarians – that the “Die” has truly been Cast, of Hungary’s growing with China, and realization, that there Freedom, there Liberty, ability to have an opinion, and express it – ingredients that are contained within the CORE of Democracy, these “ingredients” will be ERADICATED.
Hungarians – you are RESPONSIBLE and will AGAIN have to learn to live with it, as we did, from 1945 to the “Fall of the Wall” in 1989.

Hungary needs friends, powerful friends to counter EU’s continuous attacks. Hungary needs to expand its trade, so it is no longer dependent on EU as protection in case Hungary is ready to withdraw from that association. The Chinese market is enormous. It will be an asset to rely on China and Russia. Neither country is trying to interfere in Hungarian elections, neither country is trying to over-take the government and turned into an EU type dictatorship run for the benefit of globalist. Hungary tried friendship with many EU countries, all these were disastrous.
The Chinese Premier does not even pick up the phone when President Biden of FS Blinken calls. I wonder why, lack of trust?
