Coronavirus – Hungary confirmed cases rise to 103
The number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection in Hungary has risen to 103, koronavirus.gov.hu said on Saturday.
Ten of the patients are Iranians, two British, one is Kazakh, another Vietnamese, and 89 are Hungarians, the government website for disseminating information on the epidemic said.
Four patients have died and seven have recovered so far.
The epidemic in the country has entered its second phase, as the virus is being transmitted in communities rather than just from one individual to another, it added.
The authorities stress that people, especially the elderly and young people, should not leave their homes and should observe the rules concerning the epidemic.
Currently, 117 people are quarantined and the authorities have taken 3,447 samples.
