Formula 1 cars to take over the streets of Budapest

Breathtaking stunts, high-speed manoeuvres, the scent of burning rubber, and the roar of engines will take centre stage on 20 and 21 September, when the Red Bull Showrun visits Hungary for the first time.

Formula 1 team Red Bull comes to Budapest

This unique motorsport event will transform the Hungarian capital into a racetrack, allowing car enthusiasts to witness the wild antics of Formula 1 and classic cars right on the streets of Budapest.

Mid-September is shaping up to be one of the most exciting weekends of the year—especially for motorsport fans—as the Red Bull Showrun finally makes its debut in Hungary. Having already wowed audiences in cities such as Tokyo, Washington, Dublin, and Johannesburg, the event brings Formula 1 cars into the heart of urban settings, where Red Bull Racing drivers pull out all the stops to deliver a stunning spectacle.

Spectators can be certain: they’ve never seen anything like this on the streets of Budapest.

The temporary racecourse will be set up in Budapest’s 14th district, with the action unfolding along Stefánia Street. Cars will race past the Puskás Aréna and loop around the Budapest Arena. Spanning 2.5 kilometres, the course will feature stunt drivers, vintage vehicles, and Formula 1 machines, turning the event into a true celebration of motorsport.
