Corvinus University, CEU sign cooperation pact

Budapest, March 31 (MTI) – Budapest Corvinus University and the Central European University have signed a cooperation agreement, Corvinus University said on Friday.

Educational and research relations between the two universities have strengthened recently and after months of preparatory work, the heads of the two institutions signed the cooperation deal on Monday.

Corvinus University said it expects students, instructors and researchers at the two institutions to continue to enjoy the mutual benefits of the cooperation in the future, too.

Corvinus said in its statement that it was in the interest of all universities operating in Hungary that the higher education sector operates in a legal environment that respects the diversity of all institutions and guarantees them a level playing field.
