Dávid Klein made it to the peak of Annapurna
Szeretlekmagyarorszag.hu and many foreign news sites report that the Hungarian climber, Dávid Klein successfully reached the peak of Annapurna. However, he hasn’t confirmed the information yet. Nonetheless we wish the best of luck for a safe descent!
Szeretlekmagyarorszag.hu previously reported that Dávid Klein reached the base camp of the 8091 metre high summit. He even answered some of their question before starting the last stage.
There are continuous posts on his official Facebook page about his whereabouts. They shared that he contacted them from camp four, found at 7200 metres, on Saturday. This happened around 3 pm and the team supposedly continued its way to the peak at night.
Dávid prepared to reach the summit of Annapurna without the help of oxygen bottles and load-bearers. He could be the first Hungarian to have climbed Annapurna. When, in 2012, Zsolt Erőss tried to do so his attempt turned into a tragedy with the death of his partner, Tibor Horváth.
