Desmond Child is now officially a Hungarian citizen
A couple of days ago the world famous song writer, Desmond Child, has taken the oath of citizenship at the Hungarian embassy in Washington and officially became a Hungarian citizen, hirado.hu reports. The songwriter has Cuban and Hungarian ancestry. He is famous for writing countless songs for singers like Jon Bon Jovi, Robbie Williams, Shakira, and Katy Perry.
The oath of citizenship was pre-read by Réka Szemerkényi, Hungarian Ambassador to the United States, and then was repeated by Child in Hungarian. The songwriter proudly showed the document to his family and claimed that one of his main goals is to visit Hungary and help Hungarian musicians to become world known.
