English groom claims he was abducted from his bachelor party in Budapest by aliens
For fifteen hours, no one knew where the groom was, who came to Budapest with seven friends for a three-day bachelor party. Finally, they found him lying in a bush. The English groom said all he remembers is being kidnapped by aliens.
Blikk found Matthew Mavir from England, who, with his company, regularly organizes bachelor and bachelorette parties not only in Budapest, but anywhere in the world. As he also told dailystar.co.uk, he learned firsthand when the London groom disappeared for hours in the Hungarian capital.
He was babbling on about aliens and UFOs
“We are used to hearing about close encounters on trips to Eastern Europe, but this one was out of this world. This bloke had gone walkabout and, to be fair, his mates were genuinely concerned. Several hours passed and they couldn’t reach him,” Matthew Mavir said. “We handle any emergency on the weekend trip, so when the group contacted us and said he had vanished after a long day on the beer, we were all worried. But they called us back 15 hours later to say they had found him stranded in a bush and he was babbling on about aliens and UFOs.”
The groom did not only mention the aliens but also gave a brief describtion about them. “Apparently these creatures with jet black eyes had lifted him off the ground and then flew him around space. I think he was just on another planet due to the drink. But at least he had a great story from his stag.”

A growing demand for unique experiences
The bachelor (or, as the British call it, “stag do”) organiser added: “We offer packages to every hotspot you could think of, from Barcelona to York. And we even sell a stag do to the North Pole – but none of that was enough for one best man. They said the groom was an avid UFO hunter and asked if we could send them to Roswell. Some customers are usually happy with a couple of days in the pub and a funny T-shirt.” However, there is a growing demand for something more. “And we can arrange pretty much anything – from mud wrestling, firing a Kalashnikov or even having the stag arrested – but sadly we can’t arrange for him to be abducted by aliens.”
The young man was not disturbed after the alien-incident
Although the British man claims that UFOs have abducted him, his friends found him unharmed. In addition, unlike other victims of alien abductions, he was not disturbed. Attila Pataky, Hungarian band Edda’s frontman spoke about this incident, too. He has spoken before about his own experiences with aliens. He thinks that the English man is talking nonsense. Moreover, he is maybe trying to cover a private party that went too well with this tale.
