You may discover a historic Hungarian wine region with a restarted bus service

The MÁV Group has restarted its so-called Tokajbusz service today, making it the perfect option to explore all the attractions of one of Hungary’s most popular wine regions, Tokaj.
According to turizmus.com, the buses will operate between 30th March and 25th October at weekends and offer connections to the Miskolc-Budapest and Nyíregyháza-Debrecen railway lines, helping tourists from the capital or Eastern Hungarian cities explore the picturesque Tokaj wine region and its surroundings. The media outlet stated that exploring the region’s attractions is cheaper and safer by bus than by car. Consequently, they suggested visitors purchase the 24-hour county or country passes.
Based on turizmus.com, the bus route, introduced in 2022, provides enjoyment for all family members, from juniors to seniors. The primary aim of the route is to cover all important sights of the region and include the train stations of Tokaj and Szerencs. This allows passengers to continue their journey to Miskolc, Budapest, Nyíregyháza, or Debrecen.
