Fresh Look, Big Crowds: Sziget celebrates a standout edition

Change language:

Sziget 2025 proved to be a resounding success, with the festival’s new updates and changes clearly felt across the entire island. Over six unforgettable days, the festival welcomed its 11 millionth Szitizen since its inception, joining a total of 416,000 visitors who embraced and celebrated the renewed experience.

Multiple performers

From the very first day, Sziget 2025 came alive with colour and energy, the island and its visitors turning vibrant green thanks to Charli XCX’s electrifying opening performance. On that same Main Stage, audiences were treated to shows from Post Malone, The Last Dinner Party, Nelly Furtado, Shawn Mendes, Kid Cudi, FKA Twigs and more. The Main Stage also hosted the festival’s Sziget Specials, — striking artistic moments with a purpose — featuring the Superar kids’ choir and the beloved Queenz — who, next to performing daily in the Magic Mirror, delivered a spectacular drag performance in front of the Main Stage crowd. On the final day, the colour pink swept across the island as Chappell Roan brought the festival an unforgettable headline show.

Sziget’s nightlife saw a major revival with the introduction of the Delta District, home to all forms of electronic music and boosting discounted night ticket sales by 40–50% compared to last year.
