Wizz Air launches WIZZ Class: a low-cost alternative to business class on selected routes

Wizz Air has unveiled WIZZ Class, a new optional service aimed at passengers who want more personal space and added comfort without paying traditional business-class prices.

The new product will be available from January 2026 on selected flights to and from Budapest, as well as on routes serving Bucharest Otopeni, Warsaw, London Luton, London Gatwick and Rome Fiumicino.

What is WIZZ Class?

WIZZ Class is designed for cost-conscious travellers, including business passengers, who value privacy, speed and extra space, but prefer to fly low-cost.

Passengers choosing WIZZ Class will be seated in the first row, which already offers extra legroom, and one of the adjacent middle seats (1B or 1E) will be blocked and reserved exclusively for them, according to Breaking Travel News. This provides significantly more personal space while remaining within Wizz Air’s single-class cabin layout.

What does the service include?

WIZZ Class is available as an add-on during the booking process, on the seat selection page, and can be purchased alongside the Smart and Plus bundles.

The service includes:

  • Extra personal space by blocking the adjacent middle seat
  • Priority boarding, including a 10 kg carry-on suitcase
  • A complimentary non-alcoholic drink and snack during the flight

Why is Wizz Air introducing this now?

“Business travel is growing across our network, and we’ve listened to what our passengers want,” said Silvia Mosquera, Chief Commercial Officer at Wizz Air.
