Will the European Commission take on the suspended USAID’s role?

The European Affairs minister on Friday said European citizens had a right to know whether the European Commission was spending taxpayer money on earlier schemes of the US Agency for International Development (USAID), and sent a letter to several members of the EC on the matter.
János Bóka said on Facebook on Friday that the former Democrat administration of the US may have used international development cooperation to promote its own political and ideological interests in the EU. That is in “violation of [EU member states’] sovereignty and the transparency of the electoral process,” he said.
The new US administration suspended USAID payments and made earlier funding public, he said. Bóka said that earlier beneficiaries and political players had called on the EC to take over the USAID’s role. “I firmly believe that European citizens have the right to be continuously informed about the European Union‘s financial activities, particularly concerning support for beneficiaries, who previously received USAID funding,” he said.
In the letter, Bóka called on recipients to clarify whether the EC was aiming to take over the USAID’s role, and to make all decisions on funding public. Read the full English language letter HERE.

Much of foreign aid from US was a waste of money, for instance, millions for training for correct gender pronouns.
If the E.U. even thinks of doing it, the citizens need to embark on a giant campaign of civil disobedience.
Our tax money is being obscenely wasted as it is, not least of all in the washing machine that is Ukraine, but to funnel it toward ideological causes designed to undermine our values and destroy our society would be TOO FAR!
