You have to pay more for the tickets of the upper lookout of the Fisherman’s Bastion after March 15, travelo.hu told.
The Budavár local government raises the prices in 2016: full price ticket will cost HUF 800. It was only HUF 700 last year. Children under14, students, Hungarian and EU pensioners get a 50% discount while people with a Budapest card have to pay 10% less, turizmus.com wrote.
The Fisherman’s Bastion has been one of the world heritage sites as part of the Buda Castle District since 1987.
The entry is free for children under 6, for war victims, handicapped persons and the disability pensioners as well as for people showing a 1st district card. During the main tourist season, there is no entrance fee before 9 am and 8 pm, and it is also free until March 16 and after mid-October, travelo.hu reported.
