The annual release of Forbes’ list of Hungary’s wealthiest individuals has brought forth some noteworthy changes in 2023.

1. Lőrinc Mészáros

Estimated wealth of HUF 591.3 billion (EUR 1.5 billion).

Claiming the top spot once again is Lőrinc Mészáros, whose wealth signifies a remarkable comeback. Having slipped from the pinnacle in the previous year, Mészáros experienced a surge of more than HUF 150 billion (EUR 392 million) in his wealth. Opus Global PLC’s success and undisclosed additions to his portfolio contributed significantly to this resurgence.

2. Sándor Csányi

3. Zsolt Felcsuti
