The 18-metre-long, four-door articulated bus has a capacity for 130 people. Equipped with a nickel-manganese-cobalt battery pack, it can travel 350 kilometres on a single charge, napi.hu writes. The batteries of the bus operated by Arrivabus can be fully charged in four hours.
According to HUMDA Plc., more than one hundred electrically powered buses have been delivered so far in the Budapest agglomeration and in the county seats.
Most recently, a similar type of electric bus has been tested on the e105 and e210 lines, as we wrote HERE. Between 17 July and 3 August, passengers were able to experience a solo MAN vehicle.
