Good news for tourists: Important change in Budapest airport shuttle bus timetable!
Due to the increase in summer traffic, the 100E Airport Express bus will run more frequently in several periods from June.
The 100E airport bus runs between the central Deák Ferenc Square in the Hungarian capital and Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport. The bus serves several important hubs.
The bus service runs every day of the week. From June, it will be even more frequent due to the expected increase in summer tourist traffic.
The airport bus will now run every 7-8 minutes during the day. The increase will also affect the morning, midday, and late evening periods. The exact timetable is available on the Budapest Transport Centre (BKK) website.

I often wonder why can’t either the 100E or the 200E route (or a new third one),terminate directly at Nyugati RS?
The ABOMINAL dangerous condition of the Freeway – on the airport bus, and as a driver of a private vehicle to Franz Liszt, the un-comfortable ride due to the condition of the deteriorating freeway – surface quality – is a DISGRACEFUL advertisement for visitors/tourists vising Budapest, Hungary.
Increased HEAVY buses – the increased heat of summer, will in all probability, see the Freeway closed in parts or speed restrictions imposed – a slower speed.
If it rains, slippery road surface – the holes, undulation and unevenness roughness of the Freeway surface – a motorists nightmare.
The Public Buses used for this airport service – damage WILL occur to them especially there SUSPENSIONS from the appalling conditions of this airport freeway.
As in the previous comment, the news is mixed at best. Tickets used to be 900 HUF, then 1500, then 2200 now. The bumpy ride is truly horrible. Airport roads in India, Cambodia, Vietnam, Maldives, Zimbabwe etc are all better. A modern European capital MUST be connected by TRAIN to the city. But until that happens, PAVE THE ROADS. And in the summer, turn on the AC! In Budapest, they NEVER do… Sauna lovers, welcome.
