Govt strikes deal with the Catholic Church on higher education institutions

The Hungarian Catholic Bishops’ Conference (HCBC) and the government have signed an agreement on higher education institutions run by the Catholic Church, HCBC said on Friday.

The document has been signed by HCBC President András Veres and Deputy Prime Minister Zsolt Semjén, the statement said.

The agreement aims to ensure that Catholic Church-run higher education institutions, similarly to universities switching to a new, foundation-based model, provide the high standards of education focused on values and knowledge that meet modern demands and serve the whole of society, HCBC added.

The new agreement is an amendment to part of a comprehensive deal between the church and the state signed in 2010, it said.

Some 18,000 students attend the 11 higher education institutions run by the Catholic Church in Hungary.

Education – opens Windows of Opportunity.
The outcome of this agreement – Holy Roman Catholic Church of Hungary and the Government – let it NOT be Forgotten, that if this AGREEMENT – which I believe it DOES – needs – the Government – to find and inject and pay additional large funds of FORINT – that will make this a Facility of Education, that sees Improved Standards, a crucial – FACT.
The largest titled Land Owners – in Hungary – is the Holy Roman Catholic Church of Hungary.
    It is Asset Rich.

We continue to see and ALLOW, this situation, of the Asset Richness of the Holy Roman Catholic Church – not taking Florints off its Parishoners – gifts of monitary GIVING – and Selling off large parcels of its Assets – under Property – and CONTRIBUTING – in greater Impact – into Agreements that this Article refers.

Why – should tax payers money – from the Governments purse – be expected to the high leval of disbursment to fund an agreement like such – when the Asset RICH – the largest Land Owners of Property in Hungary – the Holy Roman Catholic Church – factually, fails to truely – Financially inject funding that it can AFFORD.

    Who is Bleeding who ?

The Holy Roman Catholic Church – under Cardinal Peter Erdo – through the Powers Invested in his Office, he can change the IMAGE of the Catholic Church, that in the 21st Century – bears witness to it downsizing – in the Richness of its Assets – and GIVE back – to Society, in this case Education – a larger & FAIRER financial contribution of FUNDS.
