Heat alert: we will be get roasted literally

According to hvg.hu, the heat alert ordered by the Chief Medical Officer has come into effect from Saturday to Wednesday midnight. The National Weather Service has issued a second-degree warning for three counties on Saturday so far.

The third degree, which is the largest can be ordered by the Chief Medical Officer, will be effective when the daily average temperature is expected to meet or exceed 27 degrees.

On Saturday, there will be few clouds in general, mostly sunny, dry weather is expected. The air movement remains moderate mostly. The lowest temperature is between 13-20 °C, but there will be cooler in the north-east. The highest temperature will likely be between 30 and 33 °C. It is predicted that in the next few days, the heat will continue to increase.

The medical officer’s office and the National Directorate General for Disaster Management ask that everyone should pay special attention to the increased fluid intake. You should avoid the consumption of coffee, alcohol, high-sugar-content soft drinks and fatty food. Because of the persistent heat, the healthy body also gets extreme stress, besides those who have heart and circulatory diseases, everyone can have health problems.

Their recommendation says the people participating in festivals or outdoor events should also spend a few hours in the shadow and use the cooling opportunity offered by the mist gate. Do not leave your children in the car even for a couple of minutes – they called for. Against sunburn, it is worth defend with sun cream and light, breathable clothing, but it is advisable to stay in the shadow in the hottest hours, between 11 and 15.
