Paris (MTI) – Hungarian House Speaker Laszlo Kover laid a wreath at the tomb of the unknown soldier at the Arch of Triumph in Paris on Sunday evening.
The ceremony was held in the company of hundreds of Hungarian and French participants to commemorate the 59th anniversary of Hungary’s 1956 anti-Soviet revolution and freedom fight and to pay tribute to the martyrs.
Kover is paying a three-day official visit to France.
