Hungarian culture should be strengthened in Targu Mures, says official
Targu Mures, August 27 (MTI) – Hungarian educational and cultural institutions must be strengthened in Marosvásárhely (in Romanian: Targu Mures), Hungary’s state secretary for nation policy said on Saturday, during a visit to the city.
After attending the fourth world congress and fair for people originated from Targu Mures, Árpád Potápi said the meeting had “moved the civil sphere in the city”. The event attended by about 1,500 was supported by the Hungarian government, but was organised locally. This year, the guest of honour was the central Hungarian city of Kecskemét.
