Hungarian derby: Ujpest beat FTC, trouble after the game – Photo Gallery

According to nemzetisport.hu, Ujpest won 1-0 with the goal of Mbaye Diagne in the home of Ferencvaros in the 29^th round of the football NB I (Hungarian Football League). The number one green-whites (FTC) played 24 league and 3 cup matches without a defeat in the Groupama Arena. Daniel Bode, who leads the list of top scorers, suffered a serious-looking injury in the 5^th minute of the match.

In the first 50 minutes, Ujpest only had positions, but Mbaye Diagne did not make a mistake in the 59^th minute: he was left alone in front of the empty gate, after the fault of the Nalepa- Denes Dibusz duo, and he scored a goal.

According to origo.hu, there was some trouble after the match. Two or three hundred fans tried to get into the Groupama Arena after the match, but the police forced them back to the Nepliget.

The policemen used tear gas as well, and the fans pelted them with beer bottles.

The fans rallied before the Fradi-Ujpest match in Nepliget, they watched the European Championship draw and the match on the projector. According to origo.hu, the mood was quiet for a long time. After the match, however, a few hundred people marched to the Groupama Arena and they wanted to get into the building. Origo.hu’s correspondent saw that two people were caught by the police.
