Hungarian house speaker sends condolences over Ecuador earthquake victims
Budapest, April 18 (MTI) – Hungary’s House Speaker László Kövér sent a letter of solidarity to Gabriela Rivadeneira, head of the national assembly of Ecuador, over the recent earthquakes in that country.
In his letter, Kövér expressed sympathy with family members of the victims and with those injured in the disaster.
At least 272 people died and over 2,000 were injured in a series of earthques measuring 7.8 on the Richter scale, that happened in Ecuador on Saturday evening.
