A junior governing official has accused the opposition of receiving help from a group of companies based abroad which are linked to the former prime minister, Gordon Bajnai.
Christian Democrat spokesman Lorinc Nacsa said on Sunday that recent press reports indicated Bajnai’s DatAdat group was aiding the united opposition’s general election campaign from abroad, “which could raise serious questions”.
“It is clear that the former prime minister and his foreign colleagues … want to interfere in the Hungarian election,”
he said.
Nacsa added that Péter Márki-Zay, the united opposition’s prime ministerial candidate, had “acknowledged” that he was receiving help, and this raised “the issue of foreign intervention and illicit party and campaign financing”.
He added that Márki-Zay liked to be seen as “a champion of transparency”, and he should “answer questions asked by Hungarian citizens”.

I’m sure the Christian Democrats will be upset with this, too:
Marine Le Pen received loan from Hungarian bank with ties to Viktor Orban

Well – at least Mrs. Le Pen did not have to go to a Russian bank, this time
@Tibor, don’t know if you read French:

A bit of detail: In 2014 Moscow-based First Czech-Russian Bank loaned Le Pen’s National Front party’s campaign EUR 9 million for her 2017 presidential campaign. Two years later the First Czech-Russian Bank was defunct and the loan was transferred from Konti (a Russian car rental agency) to Aviazapchast (aviation company involved in „high-priority strategic partnerships”). There was a court case whereby Aviazapchast and Le Pen agreed to restructure the loan, agreeing that Le Pen can pay back the loan in installments until 2028
We usually get very morally outraged, however it all appears rather selective. Let’s ask some more questions?
