Eurojackpot: Hungarian man among the world’s richest people
Szeretlek Magyarország.hu reported that a Hungarian man had won the grand prize of 22,569,528 Euros on Eurojackpot.
The players have to choose five numbers between 1 and 50, and two Euro-numbers between 1 and 8. The goal is to get as many numbers as possible. Seven numbers have to be well placed for winning the grand prize.
The chance of someone winning the grand prize of Eurojackpot is 1: 95,000,000. The prize in 2015 went to the Czech Republic, last year it went to Germany and this year, fortune befell a Hungarian.
While in the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Island, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia, Norway and Sweden, the grand prize of the Eurojackpot is tax-free, in Hungary, you have to pay 15% personal income tax.
To receive the money, the winner has to phone and identify him or herself. Then, the amount is transferred to a euro-based bank account.
Who is the winner? The name is likely to remain unrevealed forever.
