Hungarian national victim of the October Hamas attack revealed
The Beeri kibbutz has announced that Ilan Weisz, a father of three who has been missing since 7 October and also holds Hungarian citizenship, was killed by terrorists who invaded the settlement on the same day.
According to the Times of Israel, the 56-year-old man was held as a possible hostage for almost three months after his body was not found by the authorities for a long time. His family had not seen him since that morning after he was alerted as a member of the kibbutz’s emergency unit.

Weeks has been informed by Ilan’s brother that the family was on holiday in Hungary in August.
