Zsuzsanna Sipos
Besides set designer Patrice Vermette, Sipos was nominated as a set decorator. The sci-fi was made in a Hungarian filming location, with local creative staff, writes Forbes.hu.
The name of Sipos can also be found among the cast of another film by Denis Villeneuve, Blade Runner 2049, which was also shot mostly in Hungary. The British film academy, BAFTA, also found Dune’s production design work worth noting this year, noting Sipos as well.
Among Sipos’s previous works, we can find the series called The Alienist, which is also a domestic production, and for which the entire production design team was awarded by the Art Directors’ Guild in 2019.
