Hungarian PM’s chief of staff meets former NY Governor George Pataki
Gergely Gulyás, the prime minister’s chief of staff, met former New York State Governor George Pataki on Saturday, the prime minister’s office said.
Pataki, who is of Hungarian descent, hailed the “extraordinary efforts” of the government and the charities to handle the wave of refugees triggered by the Russian-Ukrainian war.
The former governor visited an aid point near the Hungarian-Ukrainian border on Friday.
The meeting was attended by Government Spokeswoman Alexandra Szentkirályi and member of the European Parliament Ernő Schaller-Baross.
