Hungarian police successfully discovers and neutralises marijuana crops in reed field – PHOTOS, VIDEO
The Hungarian authorities have successfully discovered and neutralised a ring cultivating and selling large amounts of marijuana near Csépa.
The Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok county police headquarters have previously conducted investigation about large-volume drug trafficking against unknown suspects.
During the investigation, the police have been informed that someone is cultivating marijuana in a large area in the outskirts of Csépa, among the reed.

In order to catch the suspected perpetrators, several branches of the Hungarian authorities have been cooperating and in the end, their work has come to fruition when they caught three suspects.

The suspected area was mapped with a drone used for scouting and after the authorities have gathered intel that the information was right, they have launched their mission and detained three man who have been the suspects of drug trafficking.
After searching the suspects homes, they have found and confiscated 300 stems of marijuana plants, 70 kilograms of dried cannabis, four cars, several million forints worth of gold jewellery and cash.
The three man were interrogated and the prosecutor’s office has ordered their arrest. The marijuana plants were destroyed using machinery.

Cannabis is only dangerous to one group. Big Pharma. Why? because they cannot patent and massively profit from a God given natural plant that in its various forms can be both medicinal and also recreational. It is certainly no worse than alcohol. In fact I do not know of anyone that had liver failure from using cannabis. Many western nations are now permitting its use for medicinal purposes with a valid prescription. Many are also now allowing recreational use. It can help cancer patients, thos with Parkinsons Disease and other maladies. It is time to legalize cannabis. Allow smoke shops and pharmacies with products for medicinal use to sell it under governmental oversite with appropriate taxes and stop making a crime out of a victimless natural substance. The Hungarian Government could certainly use some extra revenue and its legalization would free up valuable jail space for real criminals.
