Hungarian prime minister jeopardising EU funds with new law?

Democratic Coalition Hungarian government Hungarian parliament Viktor Orbán

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has broken a promise made to the European Union to consult professionals as part of the legislative process and not to fast-track laws through parliament, an opposition Democratic Coalition (DK) lawmaker said on Friday, insisting that the government was thereby jeopardising Hungary’s EU funding.

Commenting on a new bill, MEP Sandor Ronai told an online press briefing that by seeking to hobble the operations of the Hungarian Medical Chamber (MOK), Orbán was breaking a promise he made to the European Commission not to ram laws through the legislature, adding that DK is turning to the commission in writing with the aim of “saving EU funds”.

Orban – will NEVER conform to the ways – the contractual laws of European Union membership.
Orban & his Government, have been found GUILTY of acts, that are NOT within European Union laws of Memberships.
These judicial rulings have come through the Court of Justice of the European Union.
“Do the Crime-pay the Time” and ALL the ramifications, through Orban not playing by the Laws of the European Union – that Hungary – pay the Humongous price – through the ego and self-opiniated “persona” of the present Prime Minister of Hungary – Victor Orban.
Orban – the E.U. know NATO know – as does Great Britain, the United States of America – all country’s that are Governed under DEMOCRACY – that Orban is incapable to radically or fundamentally shift his opinions ideology or allegiance.

Why should “professionals” be “consulted” “as part of the legislative process”?!?!? “Professionals” have precisely zero democratic mandate from anyone. The Government, like it or not, was elected by a (pretty large) plurality of the voters. While it may–repeat, MAY–solicit and consider other viewpoints, its principal duty is to implement the platform it ran and won on. Period. Of course, the usual suspects and their fellow travelers despise that as “populism,” because they see themselves as more enlightened and all-around better than us peasants. Well, the peasants are in charge now, and long may it continue!
