Hungarian tears at the Romanian courts – VIDEO
MEP Krisztina Morvai released her second documentary on the oppression of ethnic Hungarians in Romania (Hungarian with English subtitles). The documentary video was made during the National Legal Aid Service visit to regions of Erdély where ethnic Hungarians make up the majority of the population.
The monitors found that ethnic Hungarians language rights were blatantly violated at Romanian courts where even the most essential information is not available in Hungarian.
The documentary gives an opportunity to international human rights monitors to have a first hand information on the systematic violation of the individual and collective human rights of ethnic Hungarians in Romania.
Romania as a EU member state would be obliged to change these practices in accordance with the EU rules.
Producers of the video are asking viewers to share this documentary with their friends and associates and spread the word of the state oppression of ethnic Hungarians in Romania.

My god the people in that office showed such disrespect against the most valued sector of society. Would they do that to there own mother or grandmother show such appalling disregard ! I think not.
My father is Hungarian, I was born in New Zealand and im proud to have a Hungarian name and passport.! I feel like hopping on a plane with a few of my kiwi mates and visit those unkindly folk and use some persuasive techniques on them. In the process teach them some manners and explain what dignity is. Be assured I have shared this with my friends both in New Zealand and England. Sincere thanks to Krisztina for standing up. We are with you.
@ana,
You are trash and so are all the people there that think like you. First of all Erdély is and always will be Hungarian, as the stats show, they are still the majority there. Secondly, your total ignorance of History, no thanks to the commie bastards that burnt your books and rewrote history 1939 and on are to blame here. The Trianon mismash took that poor womans’ land away (Hungarian) and gave it free to a foreign government, was not her choice. As for the disrespect like the bitch in the video you show the old woman. I’ll enjoy watching the videos in a few years of the middle east migrants walking through your town/city, coming into your home and using you for a porno propaganda video on loose Romanian Milfs and Grannies they just love.
@Piscosszem
Ok let’s try to debunk what you say here.
“You are trash and so are all the people there that think like you.”
It’s very nice of you to judge all of a person’s character just based on a single opinion which might or might not be wrong.
“First of all Erdély is and always will be Hungarian”
I think you should learn how to properly conjugate the verb “to be” in past tense. The correct form in english is “was”. Another thing i could point out is your lack of respect for the official name of that land. Usually when we speak english we should use the official name not the name used in a particular language. For exemple i can say “I live in Bucharest” not “I live in București”. The official and the most known name for that region is not Erdély nor it is Ardeal and it’s not Siebenbürgen. The official name is Transylvania. That’s how you should properly reffer to it in a language that does not have it’s own name for it.
“they are still the majority there.”
Nope they are not. They weren’t either when it was given to us. It’s true indeed their numbers were much higher at that point. But now in Transylvania you are what you are an you cannot change that. What are you? A minority!
In the Székely Land(notice how i named it) indeed there is a majority. But just like in other countries where such majorities are present they still have to know the language of their country. Lacking billingual written documents and so is indeed bad but so is the lack of knowledge of the country’s main and official language!
Working in your private business you can use and impose whatever language you wish! But in a state workplace which is directly subordinate to the romanian governemnt, having to know the romanian language is a must!
“Secondly, your total ignorance of History, no thanks to the commie bastards that burnt your books and rewrote history 1939 and on are to blame here. ”
We know history well enough to know that these lands are now ours and you the new foreigners have no say! You can bark as much as you want about the immigrationist theory just like romanians who bark about the daco-roman one! In the end it doesn’t matter who was first or who owned these lands but who owns them now! If we don’t know history then you don’t know geography… i would suggest you to open a political map of Europe to understand where the border is now!
“The Trianon mismash took that poor womans’ land away (Hungarian) and gave it free to a foreign government, was not her choice.”
That foreign government fought and payed in blood for this gift it was not for free. Because nothing in this world is for free. And you don’t need to know history to learn this lesson. It might’ve not been herr choice indeed. But the choice of remaining a mute hungarian in a romanian country was! According to her she worked like 39 years… in a romanian institution. If you would put me in a hungarian institution to work for 39 years i guess i would understand at least the basics of hungarian…. but i doubt it. I think i would learn it all in such a long time period.
“As for the disrespect like the bitch in the video you show the old woman.”
Yes yes. It was a lack of respect but other hungarians like you also show lack of respect towards their country. Which is not Hungary. Also as i said earlier she should’ve learned hungarian by now if she worked such a long time in a romanian institution. Against her you might have 2 kinds of people. First: the romanians who live in their country and shouldn’t learn a minority’s language, second: the hungarians who actually gave their interests both in their careers and in their future as romanian citizens by learning romanian. By this logic let’s say i am a hungarian who knows the romanian language. Why should i help a lazy woman when i did my efforts to learn a foreign lanugage to have a career in this country? I did my efforts to build a future for myself in this country the others should do the same!
“I’ll enjoy watching the videos in a few years of the middle east migrants walking through your town/city, coming into your home and using you for a porno propaganda video on loose Romanian Milfs and Grannies they just love.”
Keep dreaming. You won’t see this too soon. Romania is not a shiny paradise to attract the muslims. Also it’s population is highly xenophobic as you can see and the muslims won’t do well here. Most of us(not me) are fanatical ortodox christians and they won’t let the muslims do what they want as they do in the ahem… “civilised countries”. However if what you told will become truth someday you would be happy as romanians and(i hope at least) the hungarians will cease to hate each other and will foccus on the common enemy.

Hmm! The syntax deleted all the messages I posted in the previous posting. Learn’t something NEW! Let’s resend this…
Maradék “” @Alphadios aka @ana, I like the later cause it’s shorter, I must say this was a very feminine response you gave. “”
Ok let’s try to debunk what you say here. “You are trash and so are all the people there that think like you.” It’s very nice of you to judge all of a person’s character just based on a single opinion which might or might not be wrong.
“First of all Erdély is and always will be Hungarian”
I think you should learn how to properly conjugate the verb “to be” in past tense. The correct form in english is “was”.
Maradék “”Reading your comments “Alphadios aka ana”, forget your knowledge of the English grammar. You have to learn how to spell in English before you can talk about grammar. You can’t spell and should go back and check your grammar as the verbage, as used, is correct to us English speakers.””
Another thing i could point out is your lack of respect for the official name of that land. Usually when we speak english we should use the official name not the name used in a particular language. “they are still the majority there.” Nope they are not. They weren’t either when it was given to us. It’s true indeed their numbers were much higher at that point. But now in Transylvania you are what you are an you cannot change that.

There are many of us everywhere, but you’ll never know when we’ll sneek up and surprise you with all your arrogance. I’m currently not even on that side of the planet at the moment . I’m on the other side and know a lot of your country people here, that have escaped from that corrupt nonsense you are stuck with as a government. Maradék “”I already explained the dilemma of the woman over her 39yrs. Your government took the side of the Hungarian/German/Ottoman governments and then changed to attack them out of fear. The fearful lost their blood in vain. The rest was yes a gift to which nobody in the Hungarian government was invited to argue in court. It was payback by some low level politicians who voted but didn’t have the authority to do so. This is a major sticking point. Even after WW1, the main reason the Hungarian government sided with the German Nazi party, was over Trianon. As we later found, this was an even bigger mistake as the NAZI’s took away and destroyed many of our people in a Holocaust.””
“As for the disrespect like the bitch in the video you show the old woman.” Yes yes. It was a lack of respect but other hungarians like you also show lack of respect towards their country. Maradék “”I agree the Romanians don’t need to learn another language in their new country. This is EU law and International law”
“I’ll enjoy watching the videos in a few years of the middle east migrants walking through your town/city, coming into your home and using you for a porno propaganda video on loose Romanian Milfs and Grannies they just love.” Keep dreaming. Maradék “”That was a statement in spite of you, after reading your blog on the matter. I don’t wish any harm to any euro neighbors or people that live in our shared cultures and world. However the statement of what can happen if Brussels wins their way with trying to take up control of borders and breaking old treaties. Promises, agreements, to go on and change Europe by letting unknowns into the country at an uncontrolled rate as was in 2015, when Viktor Orban built the fence. This will be your greatest fear. Not what was said in any article or newsletter to date. Take the western rigged media at a distance. They glamorize the situation against central and Eastern Europe. Their aim is to get paid big money for today without concern for Europe as they believe there will be some shit hole for them to live in even after it’s take over by whoever.
The Muslim belief that woman are at the level below Man as like pets, would give me lots of concern. As an infidel woman who Allah allows to be raped under Jihad, which has been going on for 1400yrs and did get into Romania and Hungary for 150 years till we all pushed them back to where they came from. Orban says it! We are not compatible! We don’t want your uncontrolled kind!! Palestine, Israel, Lebanon, Syria, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Sudan, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and many more of these countries had a large Christian population. There all but gone, after the Christians were forced to pay a like tax and were subject to various forms of assault and death. Israel and Lebanon and Turkey are the few that still offer some protection. Do you thing Romania is anymore special when they come back and reclaim the land they now believe is theirs’, ROMANIASTAN? ””
Oh and about your borders belief, check out the link below to see how long it will last, respecting past history…

“@Alphadios aka @ana, I like the later cause it’s shorter, I must say this was a very feminine response you gave.”
You are very very very confused. I am not Ana we are not the same person. I am male. My name is Iulian(Julian in english). By the way if you have problems with quotes just copy small fragments. The important ones.
“You have to learn how to spell in English before you can talk about grammar. You can’t spell and should go back and check your grammar as the verbage, as used, is correct to us English speakers.”
Well unlike you i actually pointed out where the mistake was. You didn’t. I know that my english is not the best one but it’s also not that bad. When i first pointed out about the verb “to be” at past tense it wasn’t actually a correction but a joke. The person above said that “Erdély is and always will be Hungarian” and i joked about it. I reminded him/her that Erdély WAS hungarian. Not anymore!
“Ana, check the website you are at! Your at a Hungarian interest website not a Romanian website! Erdély is the correct spelling as it has been for over 1100yrs.”
As i said i am not Ana. I know on which website i am however the domain is “.com” not “.hu”. The name of this site is in english “dailynewshungary” and the language used is english. By the same logic why don’t you call your country “Magyarország”? It’s a hungarian interest website right? Why isn’t this site called dailynewsmagyarország.com ? Do you understand now? It’s not about being the correct form. That one is the correct form in hungarian language but not in english!
And about the age of this name there are still some theories but not certain. However if the hungarian side of history is right i don’t really care. A name is just a name.
However in english we should stick to the official names. For Magyarország is Hungary and for Erdely is Transylvania.
“You won’t find that in your Romanian history books, because your history only started in 1920.”
Huh? You know according to hungarians with different but similar points of view the date when our history started may vary.
There are those like you who like to point out we didn’t existed before the 20th century. As nation at least. But we as a people existed.
Then there are those who say we didn’t existed before the unification of Moldavia and Wallachia.
And finally there are those who say we immigrated from the south and our first proof is Neacșu’s letter. So if that is our first total evidence. You could say we still have had a time in these lands. A people’s history doesn’t have to start with the foundation of their current country but with their earliest mention in history. So for exemple your history should not start when Hungary was founded, but when you were still living in Yugra. That’s a land you should truly call “hungarian land”.
“Actually Magyars & Hunnic were a majority from establishment in 1000 until the Mongols or (Golden Hordes) did slaughter much of everyone that lived in that part a several hundred years later. It took the Hungarian King to repopulate the territory with Slavs, Germans, Romanians, and others in the Karpthanian basin to keep Mongol migration from happening or recovering to say, some blood lost here”
I don’t know much about hunnic peoples, but what i saw written about them is that no one know what happened to them after their empire colapsed. I hope you are not one of those hungarians who still claim hunic heritage. For real now. You are magyars not huns. Even so being a former majority doesn’t pay up for being a current minority. If the hungarian king chose to repopulate with some nations among which were the romanians then it’s like he gave it to us. If we managed to become the majority after that then i’d say we earned our right.
“What am i? You’ll never guess. Bet it bugs you though. Our Székely, as you did spell it correct are harmless to you.”
Yea i saw the people in the clip. They didn’t seem as a threat. However there are some xenophobic folks there. Some of them like to treat that piece of land as being their own and only theirs! This is not true. They are romanian citizens just like me. We have equal rights there.
“There the tribe of us that saved many of your asses from the Ottomans and mainly Mongol hordes, probably the reason why we are communicating with you now.”
Ahem yeah. You speak as if the Székelys were the only ones fighting against the Ottoman Empire. We had our fights with them you know.
“There are many of us everywhere, but you’ll never know when we’ll sneek up and surprise you with all your arrogance.”
Should i take this as a threat? Should i believe there are secret hungarian organisations trying to take back what we earned? Remember just as i said. Nothing is free. No one would’ve given us Transylvania for free. Which means we earned it!
“I’m currently not even on that side of the planet at the moment . I’m on the other side and know a lot of your country people here, that have escaped from that corrupt nonsense you are stuck with as a government. Your people actually said that all the sane Romanians that could escape and could leave for a better life have done so. Guess that makes you like the old woman right?”
No it doesn’t make me like the old woman. And escaping Romania for a better life is not always as it would seem. That’s why a lot of them actually returned in August this year to protest against the evil government. They were beaten and fought against governement’s forces for their rights.
Even those who hate their country come to visit every once in a while because even if they have a better life where they went they still didn’t forget where they came from. I didn’t asked that woman to leave, however she should’ve adapted to her new environement by now. There were others in that clip more or less her age and they knew romanian. What’s her excuse?
“I can respect what you say here and agree.” Well i appreciate this. 😀
“However, we don’t know what kind of job or environment the woman worked in. She could have been cleaning street garbage which wouldn’t have had very much Romanian interaction. She wouldn’t have had the benefits of working in an office, it was probably reserved for Romanians.”
Yes it is true what you said however. The old woman said she worked alongside romanians. So she should’ve learned from them a thing or two. And 39 years? Look i am a biologist, i worked in a lab. If you would put me tomorrow with 3 hungarians in a lab even unwillingly i will remember some hungarian. Working with them for 39 years you can be sure i would speak the language. And that’s only passively. If i actually give interest in learning be sure i would speak it just as they do! 39 years is a very long period of time.
“I’m figuring she must be in her late 80’s early 90’s by her appearance. She would have been very young just after Trianon and her parents and her commoners not seeing 2nd WW or the 56 Commie Revolt coming.”
The guy who translated those papers didn’t looked young either. As i said working together with some foreigners should be enough to at least understand thier language. She worked 39 years with romanians and not only that. She even quoted some romanian lines and to my surprise she even had a perfect pronounciation! So i just can’t see any other reason besides unwillingness for her lack of romanian language.
She also admitted in this clip that she is 72 years old. Since that clip is old from 2016. She was born sometime in 1944. One year before the WW2 was over. So when the northern Transylvania was given back to Romania in 1947 she should’ve been like 3 years old right? By the 60s she should’ve been a young lady working hard for the by then communist regime in Romania which was very focused on work and workers in general. That regime was very harsh for minorities if i remember right so… i really don’t get it. How did she escaped learning romanian even passively without trying.
“This is what it is, and now today, secretly, Orban and Putyin are all fighting the supreme New World Order elite.”
I am not a conspiracy theory believer anymore. There might be international interests for sure. But Illuminati and lizzard people? Hmmm i don’t think so.
“How long has the Karpathian basin been part of the Romanian Kingdom??? 100 years versus 1100years under Hungarian Kingdom rule. You don’t think there will be any more border changes from the Russians, Poles, Germans, Turks? I hope your right.”
Well in this millenium hungary might’ve ruled these lands but they were shared between multiple peoples. There were also germans here. So this land is not purely hungarian nor romanian. Nowadays it is ruled by romanians. I also hope there won’t be any other border changes because they will bring no good for neither of these 2 countries. For hungarians… just think about it. You will have your Transylvania back… but together with all the romanians inside. You know what that means? It means you will have much more romanians in Hungary than we currently have hungarians in Romania. This will by default mean you will have to accept romanian as a second official language, and our transylvanian romanians will have their right to vote and be voted right? Just imagine a romanian president for the new Hungary!
“I already explained the dilemma of the woman over her 39yrs. Your government took the side of the Hungarian/German/Ottoman governments and then changed to attack them out of fear. The fearful lost their blood in vain.”
Well you know how it is said. In love and war everything is permitted.
“The rest was yes a gift to which nobody in the Hungarian government was invited to argue in court. It was payback by some low level politicians who voted but didn’t have the authority to do so. This is a major sticking point.”
Well politics is a bitch. That’s what we say here. And i think we are not the only ones knowing this. Now it depends who are you asking. Some will agree with you others will say Transylvania voted to be united with Romania.
“Even after WW1, the main reason the Hungarian government sided with the German Nazi party, was over Trianon. As we later found, this was an even bigger mistake as the NAZI’s took away and destroyed many of our people in a Holocaust.”
You know. I find this very funny. A few days ago i discussed these problems on discord with two so called transylvanian saxons, or germans as they wanted to be called. They said Transylvania should and will be taken back bit by bit by Hungary. They showed a lot of respect for your people. And called Romania a traitor country because we turned against Germany in the Second World War. I said it was the smartest move for us as we had no choice and we had our people taken to lagers like Auschwitz. They tried to convince me no romanian or hungarian was killed by nazi :)) and even dared to present Hitler in a positive light. As if he did the right thing. Now i see the feeling is not mutual between you and them. The guys also visited the HVIM camp to shoot and ride some horses and they seem to have a good opinion about them. I would like to know what do you think.
“However, social services MUST provide people that can speak or communicate somehow if they are being paid to serve the public of established and recognized minority populations as they are respected in other and neighboring European countries. This is EU law and International law”
I have nothing to say here. You might be right but still the international and EU laws usually mean jack shit in a country like Romania. There are of course even worse places.
“That was a statement in spite of you, after reading your blog on the matter.”
Wut? What blog? Oh… i get it. I am supposed to be the one and the same with this so called Ana.
“I don’t wish any harm to any euro neighbors or people that live in our shared cultures and world.”
That’s nice of you to say.
“However the statement of what can happen if Brussels wins their way with trying to take up control of borders and breaking old treaties. Promises, agreements, to go on and change Europe by letting unknowns into the country at an uncontrolled rate as was in 2015, when Viktor Orban built the fence. This will be your greatest fear.”
We will gladly take care of any intruder in our country or at least I hope so. As you saw up until now romanians like to have someone to hate. The new immigrants will do just fine.
“The Muslim belief that woman are at the level below Man as like pets, would give me lots of concern. As an infidel woman who Allah allows to be raped under Jihad, which has been going on for 1400yrs and did get into Romania and Hungary for 150 years till we all pushed them back to where they came from. Orban says it! We are not compatible! We don’t want your uncontrolled kind!! Palestine, Israel, Lebanon, Syria, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Sudan, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and many more of these countries had a large Christian population.”
I don’t know about Hungary but in Romania’s case I guess they will either flee when they see there is nothing to profit of, or be forced to flee. About the raping part. Just wait until they look at some crazy gypsy’s wife. Then they will see how much Allah loves them :))
But I am glad you proved my point. Hungarians and Romanians can get along but with crazy arab muslims… no way!
“Do you thing Romania is anymore special when they come back and reclaim the land they now believe is theirs’, ROMANIASTAN?”
Let them try! Russia and USA … of course… they are the big guys. It’s obvious we should be afraid of them… but some ragtag peasants no way! I dare them to come here. Most of the romanians are very hateful and highly religious and zealous in their eastern orthodox faith. Think it this way: You say the magyars are opressed and discriminated then just imagine what do romanians have in store for muslims =))
“Oh and about your borders belief, check out the link below to see how long it will last, respecting past history…”
I know that clip. However now we live in modern times when changing a border is not as easy as back then. Now we have a romanian majority in Transylvania and as i said it’s not gonna work even if you could take it back. A border change now will only do much more harm.
Now i would still like to know where did you get the idea that i and Ana are the same person?
