Hungary, Axiom Space in joint mission
The Hungarian government will embark on a space mission with US space technology company Axiom Space, Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said on Facebook on Monday.
Szijjártó said he had discussed details with AS chief Michael Suffredini by phone.
The minister said one of four Hungarian candidates, already selected from 244 applicants, will participate in 8 experiments distributed over 31 days. He added that the experiments had been defined in cooperation with Hungarian universities, and that the astronaut would also take 12 Hungarian-developed instruments to the space station.
