Hungary, Israel sign agreement to boost film co-production
Budapest (MTI) – Hungary and Israel signed a cooperation pact on film co-production, which will help Hungary boost its ties in the international film arena, the ministry of human resources said.
Zoltan Balog, the minister for human resources, signed the cooperation documents with Ilan Mor, the Israeli ambassador to Budapest, on Monday.
The agreement specifies the conditions for taking part in film co-productions as well as the criteria for a film to be listed officially as a co-production, the ministry said in a statement.
These rules will help complete more joint film projects and will also ease distribution access to Israeli films in Hungary, it added.
