Hungary Oct industrial output up 6.0 pc
(MTI) – Industrial output in Hungary rose by an annual 6.0 percent in October, based on unadjusted data, after growing by 5.5 percent in September, preliminary data published by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Friday show.
In a monthly comparison output fell by 0.5 percent, based on seasonally and working day adjusted data.
The engine of the increase in output is car production which produced extraordinary growth, determining the rate for the whole sector, KSH deputy department chief Miklos Schindele said. The production of vehicles and vehicle parts makes up more than one fifth of industrial output, he added. He added that the half of a percent monthly drop does not effect of the growing trend.
