Hungary’s Trieste port development set to reach full capacity by 2028

A port development the state of Hungary is undertaking in Trieste will operate at full capacity by 2028, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade State Secretary Levente Magyar said on Thursday, after a walkthrough of the site.

Magyar said the 30-hectare area under development had 650m of seafront. He added that much of Hungary’s exports bound for trading partners outside of Europe were delivered by sea. Magyar said he had met with Edoardo Rixi, the deputy minister of infrastructure, earlier.
