Hungary wins bronze at the UIPM 2017 World Cup II for modern pentathlon
Hungary was amongst 26 countries which participated in the second UIPM World Cup for Modern Pentathlon that took place at the International Cairo Stadium from the 21st to the 27th of March 2017.
The Hungarian pair of Tamas Bence Frohlich and Tamara Alekszejev won the third place and the bronze medal, at the team-relay mix’s competition.
Speaking about the women’s competition, Hungarians Sarlota Kovács, Tamara Alekszejev, Anna ZS.Tóth, and Sarlota Simon, ended in the fifth, eighteenth, twenty-seventh, and  thirty-sixth places, respectively.
The first World Cup took place in February 2017 in Los Angeles, USA; the second in March 2017 in Cairo Egypt; while the third will be celebrated in May 2017 in Kecskemet, Hungary;
the fourth in May 2017 in Drzonkow, Poland; and the Final World Cup in June 2017 in Vilnius, Lithuania.
