Hungary’s most beautiful women chosen at the Miss Universe Hungary – Photo gallery

According to origo.hu, 15 girls were chosen out of more than 1000 applicants to compete in the Hungary’s Beauty 2016 contest. Last Sunday night the jury chose a new beauty queen, Tímea Gelencsér, who is now Miss World Hungary and will be representing our country at upcoming competitions.

The 22-year-old queen, who studies marketing at university, will be representing Hungary at the Miss World beauty contest in December, in Washington DC. The beautiful young lady used to do acrobatic show dancing and even won a silver medal at the European Chamionships.

The 22-year-old Eszter Oczella was chosen as the first runner-up, while the 23-year-old Babett Dukai was chosen as the second runner-up. Bianka Dézsányi got the most votes from the audiance. Also, the ‘2016’s most beautiful smile’ title was given to Enikő Késmárki.

There were over a thousand applicants again this year, but the jury had to chose 15 girls who got the chance to compete last Sunday night in the live show. Besides the traditional bikini and evening gown procession, the girls also showed their beauty in the shirt of the Hungarian national football team honouring their success and walked down the runway in beautiful creations inspired by our national motives.
