IT problem caused longer waiting times at Budapest Airport, border crossings
A countrywide IT problem that has resulted in longer waiting times at border crossing points and at Budapest Ferenc Liszt Airport has been resolved, the National Police Headquarters (ORFK) said on its police.hu website on Wednesday.
The police headquarters had advised travellers heading abroad to turn to the border information page of the website or the police app called Rutin to get updates on border crossing points and current waiting times. Just before noon, the error was fixed and border traffic is again flowing unimpeded, the website said.
