The Jamie Oliver Group and the Zsidai Group opened the restaurant in the Buda Castle in May, after months of preparation. It has shortly become a significant target and a favourite place-to-go for both Hungarian and foreign guests.
Even before the opening, Jamie Oliver said that “Opening a restaurant in Budapest is hugely exciting. Our first site is right in the heart of the Castle District, which has got to be one of the most beautiful places to be opening a restaurant. We’re working with a fantastic local partner, and we’re already on the hunt for brilliant suppliers and producers. I can’t wait to get the doors open! ”
Zoltán Roy Zsidai expressed his joy about the award: it was a wonderful acknowledgement, rather indescribable, therefore, thanked all his colleagues and guests, for without them he could not have made it. He also said that that was really tough, opening the restaurant, but by now he has become fully certain that their company does well among the leaders of international gastronomy.
