Love and romance in Hungary in the 20th century – Retro photo collection
The day of grand romantic gestures is here again, and to celebrate, mno.hu has compiled a collection of old photos of Hungarians in love, courtesy of Fortepan.
Saint Valentine of Terni is the patron saint of couples, marriages, and love, as well as epilepsy, beekeeping and the plague. Saint Valentine is commemorated by the church on February 14, and Valentine’s Day has become a secular holiday to celebrate love and relationships.
