March Madness: Betting
The thrill of the tournament is nicely complemented by the excitement of betting on your favorite teams. As there are 68 teams competing in the March Madness alone, betting is not easy. The tournament is renowned for being unpredicatble so even though Purdue Boilermakers are the favorites in the college basketball lines, they could easily crash out in the early stages.
Did you know that college hoops is one of the most wagered sports in the United States? According to recent reports, college basketball saw roughly three times more betting activity last season than the Super Bowl last February! In numbers: more than 40 million people wagered more than USD 3 billion on the College Basketball Tournament last season. This season is poised to bring similar numbers.
However you plan to spend the tournament – betting money or supporting your favorite team(s) without wagering –, make sure not to miss any important moments. Have fun!
