Miklos Ybl is a name which is known by quite a number of people. It’s known that he is an architect who created a couple of important buildings but do we know his true importance? You can know the life and work of this 19th-century-architect from the book called Ybl all, mandiner.hu said.
Miklos Ybl was born in 1836 and died in 1891. He could live both the Reform Era and the decades after the Compromise as an adult, creative man, and his buildings have been shaping the architecture of the country, especially Budapest.

In 1832, he joined Mihaly Pollack’s guild, who is also of German origin, as an apprentice, but he quickly progressed through the ranks. In 1842, he visited Italy and the local influences left their mark on Ybl’s style as well. He became the architect of the Karoly family in 1847, and then he worked for a wide circle of customers in the 1850’s, mandiner.hu said.
He became the master license in 1863, but he already shaped the image of the fast-growing capital.
The Ybl all book presents the architectural tasks and solutions of this genius. It is the joint operation of Csilla Hamori, Jozsef Orfi, Zsofia Viczian and Sara Timar photographers, published by the Latohatar Publishing House.
